In the heart of the Duarte cacao province, Öko Caribe ensures consistent, top-quality cacao with years of experience, even with an annual production of over 500 tons! Around 165 farmers are supported with training, improved working methods, and organic certification.

Like other plantations, bananas, avocados, and coconuts are also grown among the cacao trees.

The owners, Jesus Rodriguez and Gualberto Acebey Torrejon, are highly involved with all the farmers and provide necessary microloans for these local communities. This has resulted in award-winning cacao.
